victory...again
Death won the second prize in the IP college fest and the directors Saumya and Radhika were awarded the Best Director prize.
Tara won the first prize in the IIM,Bangalore fest-Unmaad,2008.Also,the street play Gumraah was awarded the second prize in the same fest.

back in the new year
In the OldTheatre Festival organised by IHC,Kharaashein was adjudged the Best Production and Alipt from the same cast was announced the Best Actor.
Death secured the first position at the JMC fest.
In the Lady Irwin College fest,Kharaashein,Tara and Gumraah won the first prize in hindi play,second prize in english play and third prize in street play respectively.
Promona Sengupta from the Tara cast and Samiya Naseer from the Gumraah casr were adjudged the best actors.
SRCC Histrionica proved to be a complete winning package for us as we walked away with the overall winners' trophy after being awarded the Best Script prize for Gumraah,1st prize in hindi stage play for Kharaashein and 2nd prize in english stage play for Tara. Promona and Alipt were awarded Best Actor prizes.
Gumraah was performed for the CRY Bal Natya Utsav and were commended for the performance.
Among the outstation fests,Kharaashein won the 1st prize in the IIT Powai fest and Death won in the NLS fest.
With so many wins in the last year,we can only strive to work even harder in this new year.and with the elections coming up soon,the year is bound to be an exciting one.
